The web offers much potential for outreach,
advocacy and partner engagement. Since 2002, when our first website
was launched, we have expanded our engagement with the web in
different ways. We exchange each others content, or links, or
promote each other's products and services all of which are in the
public interest.
These are among our key new media partners:
 |
COANews, an independent, non-profit
online news network featuring diverse, credible independent news
and current affairs. COA News can best be described as the portal
to independent news media. |
| |
|
 |
Media Helping Media (MHM), a
London-anchored web portal set up 'to provide a platform for
those involved in the media in transition
states, post-conflict countries and areas where freedom of
expression and media freedom is under threat'. |
| |
|
 |
MediaChannel.org, a New York-anchored
website 'concerned with the political, cultural and social impacts
of the media, large and small'. MediaChannel exists to provide
information and diverse perspectives and inspire debate,
collaboration, action and citizen engagement. |
| |
|
 |
Science and Development Network
(SciDev.Net), an independent online news, analysis and information
service aiming 'to provide reliable and authoritative information
about science and technology for the developing world'. |
| |
|
 |
The Hoot.org is a New Delhi-anchored
independent media watch website that seeks 'to revive a concern
for media ethics, restore focus on development in the
subcontinent, and preserve press freedom'. It tries to hold a
mirror to the way journalists practice their craft in South Asia. |
| |

platform where TVEAP has had a
channel since March 2007. |
