Since 1996, TVE Asia Pacific has developed close partnerships with television broadcasters in more than a dozen countries in the Asia Pacific region.

These include privately-owned as well as state-owned TV stations or networks (TVEAP does not discriminate between the two). Some broadcast at a local or national level, but increasingly many have a regional or global outreach by going on satellite or the web.

Many of these broadcast partners are linked to TVEAP’s Film Distribution Service, where international standard programming on development issues are provided without a license fee.

Some producers or managers from these TV stations have also participated in national, sub-regional or regional level training courses or media roundtables organised by TVEAP. Thus, we are able to mobilise substantial broadcast involvement in the public interest across East Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia and the South Pacific.
