  Our Team

There are literally millions of stories waiting to be told in the Asia Pacific region, home to more than half of humanity.

This is the small challenge that we at TVE Asia Pacific have taken on.

We describe our approach as 'Distributed TV production' – where we work with talented and credentialed TV/video/film professionals across the Asia Pacific.

So our team is as diverse and distributed as our stories and locations are.

At our head office, we have a small team of journalists and producers who take editorial decisions and coordinate the productions in different locations. They use telecommunications tools and digital platforms for remote-managing the outsourced professionals. If and where needed, our roving producers would join a local crew on location filming and/or editing.

Come work with us!

We engage the services of freelance TV/video professionals at three different levels:

At a basic level, we engage camera crews to shoot to a brief and return logged camera tapes for post-production. Most such shoots are set up in advance by our production managers.
At the intermediary level, we seek camera crews to go on location filming with one of our roving director-producers, in pursuit of a story that we have researched in advance.
At a higher level, we also commission full productions – from researching and location filming to post-producing – on agreed specifications and budgets.
We pay international rates to our local film crews no matter where in the world we will engage their services. In turn, we expect a world class service.
Interested TV/film professionals are invited to send their CV/filmography to:contact
