When it comes to HIV, social stigma and discrimination are bigger killers than the virus itself. That's why the pandemic needs biomedical, social and communications responses
to protect communities from HIV and improve the lives of those already living with virus.
And that's just what the Scenarios films are all about. These short, dramatised and often humourous films have been created specifically as discussion starters, to help trigger open dialogue about HIV/AIDS and how it affects our lives, our families and our communities.
The project has started in 1997 as Scenarios from the Sahel and in 2002 was expanded to become Scenarios from Africa. It has been coordinated by the Global Dialogues Trust,
The two collections are available from TVE Asia Pacific to broadcast, civil society and educational users in the Asia Pacific.
